  1. I was lucky to find Hands of Hope (Bedford Ave) after my elbow surgery, back in March. Everyone there, Sauzon (?), Abbie, Jasmin, Mahmoud and Chrystal were exceptional. Sauzon got me started and Abbie took care of me over 2 months!. Since this was during the height of the Covid pandemic it was a miracle that therapy could continue, on limited schedule and with all necessary precautions & ppe. The atmosphere is very friendly and personal. The treatments and exercises gradually restored my movement. Without Abbie, Hands of Hope and their fortitude to work through these rough times my recovery would have been in jeopardy.

  4. I never considered back pain in terms of improving mental health, but I can definitely see the correlation. There are many places that offer standing desks as an alternative, but simply being mindful of your posture goes a long way.

  7. It’s really alarming to know that depression has affected around 260 million worldwide, old and young people alike. My sister might be one of these people and I’m worried that she’s not paying attention to her own mental health. Maybe I can come over to her apartment and ask her if she’s open to the idea of attending counseling sessions.
